The Postgraduate Punjabi Department of Khalsa College in Patiala, along with Punjabi Sahitya Sabha and Bhasha Manch, hosted a poetry recitation competition today. The event featured participation from 25 students across various departments.
Jagdeep Singh from MA Punjabi (Part II) secured first place, while Parneet Kaur from BA Social Science and Haven Kaur from B.Com (Part I) took second and third places, respectively. Harman Jot Singh from MA Punjabi (Part I) also performed well.
Principal Dharminder Singh Ubha emphasized that the college aims to connect students with their heritage through such events.
