St. John’s to Celebrate World Poetry Day with Special Reading Event

The City of St. John’s will celebrate World Poetry Day with a special reading event on Thursday, March 20, at 7 p.m. The gathering will take place in the Foran Greene Room on the fourth floor of City Hall.

Hosted by the City’s Poet Laureate, Mark Callanan, the event will showcase six poets:

  • Maggie Burton
  • Mary Dalton
  • George Murray
  • Michelle Porter
  • Craig Francis Power
  • Aaron Tucker

This free public event welcomes all poetry lovers, and no registration is required. Attendees can enjoy tea, coffee, and light refreshments while listening to live readings from acclaimed poets.
