BRADFORD—Creative writing teacher and poet Winston Plowes will be the featured guest at the next Beehive Poets meeting, set for 7 p.m. on Friday, April 4, at Bradford City Library.

Plowes, who lives on a floating home near Hebden Bridge, teaches creative writing in schools and works with adult groups across Calderdale and beyond.

His upcoming book, a collection of Urdu ghazals translated into English, will be published by Stairwell Books later this year.

At the event, Plowes will be joined by poet Ivo Bierands, who will also share a reading.
