Atlanta, GA – August 26, 2024 – “Poetry With Flavor,” hosted by Lucy T. Berry, is set to entertain and enlighten audiences on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 7:00 PM.

Lucy T. Berry’s show is a vibrant celebration of African American culture through poetry. With her background as a retired librarian and educator, along with her deep passion for writing and researching African American history, Berry brings a distinctive flair to her program. As a proud graduate of Livingstone College, she combines literary expertise with insightful commentary, enriching each episode with her unique perspective.

Berry’s poetry, recognized for its sassy, humorous, and insightful approach, has made a significant impact. Her work reflects the essence of Black experiences, resonating deeply with listeners and evoking a strong sense of cultural connection. She is the author of FROM SURVIVIN’ TO THRIVIN’ and has been featured in various anthologies and magazines, including BLACK GOLD, ADAM OF IFE: BLACK WOMEN IN PRAISE OF BLACK MEN, JUBILEE MAGAZINE, URBAN PROFILE MAGAZINE, and THE ZORA NEALE HURSTON FORUM.
