On Friday, September 6, at 5:30 p.m., the Alan Day Community Garden at 26 Whitman Street will host an outdoor poetry reading. The event, which is free and open to the public, will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
Four poets will take the stage, each reading for approximately 20 minutes. Local poets Dennis Camire of West Paris, known for Combed by Crows (2017) and Anthology of Awe and Wonder (2024), Michalene Hague of Otisfield, and Lisa Moore of Harrison will present their works. They will be joined by Bill Thibodeau, a visiting poet from Boston, who has authored American Icon, The Watchman, The Fore River, and Sand Shadow (2019).
