A special event titled “Ameeras” will showcase a unique blend of music and Indian mystic poetry in Pune. The event features renowned Indian Classical musician Mandar Karanjkar, who has created a captivating collection of compositions inspired by the profound expressions found in mystic literature.
The title “Ameeras,” which means “divine nectar” or “the elixir of immortality,” is derived from the poetry of Saint Raidas. This title reflects Karanjkar’s belief in the transformative power of mystic poetry. His compositions invite listeners to explore the infinite within their mortal existence.
The event is scheduled for October 19, 2024, at Mazda Hall, Dastur School, Pune Camp, starting at 7 PM. It is organized in collaboration with Spotlight Forum, Baithak Foundation, and The Poona Music Society.
