Crown Prince Attends Jordan Camel Race and Poetry Festival Closing Ceremony

On Sunday, Crown Prince Hussein attended the closing ceremony of the fourth Jordan Camel Racing and Nabataean Poetry Festival in Wadi Rum.

The Crown Prince watched the final two laps of the camel race and a performance by the Public Security Directorate’s camel unit. He honored the race winners and presented a prize to the top winner of the Nabataean poetry competition, as stated by the Royal Court.

Attendees at the ceremony included Senate President Faisal Fayez, Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Issawi, Adviser to His Majesty for Tribal Affairs Kneiaan Bluwi, Culture Minister Mustafa Rawashdeh, Public Security Directorate Director Maj. Gen. Obaidallah Maaytah, Aqaba Governor Khaled Hajjaj, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain, along with several senators and deputies.
